Yeah you will be fine. My last ones i got off sechemedia and those are still on the car after 2 years. The ones i tried to put on the speed were from some forum guy so i am not surprised that they sucked. lol

if you get a nice gloss on them and possible wax them then they shouldn't take more than a rag to wipe it off. The speed brakes dust even more. I would wash my car, drive 10 minutes to the store and back and i could leave streaks on the wheels. Like they wouldn't even stay clean 1 day but i think the look is worth it.

Looking at the original post. I love the Storm Trooper Build. I had everything pretty planned out to make a similar build, til I realized that it's not legal to smoke out the taillights in California (and elsewhere).

Unfortunately, that means that I'm probably going to leave the taillights red. Are there any other neat suggestions that can trick out my 2012 Crystal White Pearl Hatch?

You can use fly eyes for the tail lights to "black out". Check my build thread in my thread for some ideas. Not 100% doing the Storm Trooper build, but definitely taking bits and pieces from the idea.

Are Fly Eyes Legal? These looks great (according to the video they made on their website)!

Also, how big would they have to cover the back and the front in cm. Maybe I'm too lazy, but the way the lights on the hatch protrude, looks difficult for an amateur like me :P

I used two biggest sheets they had, unfortunately the back turned out horrible and super hard to do so I just got them professionally blacked out. But the front turned out good so I'm keeping it.
