Mazda 3 Hatch Build

Here is my Velocity Red 2010 Mazda 3 Hatchback S Sport 2.5L that I bought in April 2012.

Current Modifications:

Red brake calipers
DDM 6000k HID low beams
Tinted taillights and rear reflectors
20% tint all around
Stock rims painted black



When if first bought the car


First Mod I did too the car was get all the windows tinted with 20% all around.

Then I went and painted the brake calipers red.

Next was tinting the brake lights and the rear reflectors



Replaced the stock halogen bulbs with DDM 6000k HID kit

The last thing I have done was to paint the rims black using Duplicolor self-etching primer, Duplicolor gloss black engine enamel, and Duplicolor engine enamel clear coat.

looks real nice! I like the touch of red on the brake calipers and the black rims look awesome with the red paint.. lookin good!

Nice 3! I'm also looking at painting my rims... hows that Duplicolor gloss black engine enamel paint holding up?

nice where did you get the taillight tint? and i think you should paint your emblems black!

I second this question, ive been meaning to do my tails, and i like how light yours came out not to blacked out, more like how the vinyl tints look...

Hey i did the wheels with DupliColor engine enamel to get the glossy look.

For the lights i used VHT nightshade and sprayed them twice. The sun and car wash made them lighter which looks lighter.

Very Nice. I have the same car (Grand Touring). Same color. Black wheels as well (aftermarket, didn't paint)

Yeah 16k and i need to get new tires put on.
