I really like the e-brake handle. Is this something you would consider making/selling? If so, please send me a PM

Wow that e-brake does look good! If the price is right, I might be interested in one as well!

Thanks for the compliments on the E-Brake. I made it after-hours at work over th course of 4 days. about 9-10hrs between turning milling and finishing. We only have manual machines at work... no CNC thats where the time is involved. Now that I've done one it would probably be a little quicker but cutting a oval part on a manual lathe is time consuming to say the least. Even being modest about a price, time and materials It would not be feasible to sell. I might consider contacting a CNC equipped shop to see what they say about doing a small run of these if there is solid interest though.

Thanks for all the info. I didn't realize how custom this part was. It makes sense about the hands on time and when you said oval, I knew it would be a no go for me! Thanks though!!!

Once again, it does look great!!!

I would be interested up to $100, but not more than that. What the minimum run if you were to do this through a CNC shop? 10?

I'll talk to my coworker Dave AKA:Yoda at work tomorrow he has been around the block a few times so to say. Has done everything under the sun in regards to machining he will probably be able to give me a round-about estimate and maybe a source. I'll defiantly look into it. This would be for the 2010 Mazda3's only initially ... from what I've seen the 2009 on down have different tab layout under the plastic handle... may need help confirming this. To make it universal would take a little more research model specific parts fit better anyway. I'd really like to do this to as long as I could keep the price reasonable. If i decide to go ahead I'll start a new thread.

Here is a pic of the 2010 sport 6spd handle with the cover removed... just for reference
