Alright... here we go!

As long as my wallet permits, I plan to fiddle with my new little MAZDASPEED3, so I figure I'd get a thread going.

I am all for constructive criticism, opinions, suggestions, or whatever your little heartts desire. Honesty is a virtue... let me have it!

So far, I have only tinted the windows, and invested in some new bulbs. She is now a blue eyed girl, however, the H11 bulbs for the headlights just don't seem to illuminate too well... I'm considering moving the H11 bulbs to the fogs and looking into some HIDs. like I said, suggestions welcome.

This weekend, I did some fiddling with my rear emblems... I'll post some pictures in a sec...

REAR EMBLEMS

So I decided to go with the "bleach bath" method and gloss paint... happy it did.

I'm somewhat an impatient person, but it gave me a little project that lasted all weekend. Something I found that others may be interested in, is that the "MAZDASPEED" emblem did not have any pins on it... I read all over the place that it did.. new to 2010?? Anyway, I decided to go for the "evil M" approach, and carved it out with a Dremel... Sorry to anyone that may feel I have copied you, but please take it as a compliment. .... Moving on.



I gotta say, I was very nervous about taking the Dremel to it...

First coat of primer:



Last coat of "clear" freshly sprayed:



aaaaand the finished product (still a little soft, so it isn't going on the car yet)...

Thought about it.... got a little booger on it when the paint was wet too...

Personally i'm happy with it, but I guess it's pretty important since everyone will be looking at it as I blow past them. oooooohhhhhhhhhh haha
