Are the factory mounts on the side skirts tabs? How should I go about taking them off? I appreciate the help!

If you are looking to remove your factory skirts, you would pull them out away from the car then down towards the ground. They use several plastic push pins just like a door panel would. The ones underneath the car are larger.

Keep in mind that just like door panels, you will probably break some of the push pins, they just snap into the side skirts but you may need some new ones when you go to put your skirts back on the car.

Where did you get the plaid vinyl? I want some vinyl, not necessarily plaid but something other than a solid color or carbon fiber haha

Edit: Just kidding. I found where you posted what it was.

Thinking of getting a 4" outlet, but looks like 3.5" filled up the bumper cutout already. Yeah?

god i love this build! its fun seeing someone do alot of the stuff you wanna do first. taking some of the hassle out of it. im really interested in the rear bumper swap. i gotta 2012 skyactiv single exhaust and i had gotten rear ended and was gonna ask about a 2.5 dual exhaust bumper assuming they bolt right up. and it seems they do from what you say. i dont have mud guards or anything so if im correct i should have no problems

Not the mud guards or flaps but it is the splash shields that are different. Right behind the rear tires, the rear part of the inner wheel well liner. I think the 2.5 ones are only about $25 each anyway. I used my mud guards from the 2.0 bumper and forced them to fit with an extra screw.

Other than that you may need to shave some of the rear bumper styrofoam that is there, mine gave me a hard time but eventually popped in with no trimming, but I think it would have made it easier if I had.

Other than that it was a direct swap and rather easy to do, mine was expensive due to the CWP paint job via the dealer, but they did a great job.

so your saying the rear wheel liner may not fit? any way i could get a pic of what u did or what u would suggest needs to be done to fix it since i dont have mudflaps to force it in hmm i wonder if they will give me shit for that since its a repair from an accident that im asking them to upgrade.

part 16?

Part #16 in the pic.

They are shaped slightly different between a 2.0 and a 2.5.

You could ask if the shop will work with you on them.

I think you could replace them yourself afterwards, if the shop wont help, but if you pay for them I would think they would install them for you.
