Default Site slow / won't load?

Has anyone else noticed that the M3R site has been really slow lately? Sometimes it's so slow that the request times out and I get a 404. This happens at work and at home, so I don't think it's my connection.

It must be something host-side. We're using a virtual private server for database performance so it shouldn't be slow at all. I'll send in a note and find out what's going on...

Same here...

Plus, when using the New Posts link at the top of the forum, it has often been throwing me to an error page that looks more like the Main page than the forum... sorry, I can't remember what the error was and it's not doing it now.

It should be fixed now... According to the host:

Quote:
I'm terribly sorry that you were affected by this issue, which should now
be resolved.

We experienced some pretty gnarly networking issues through the day
yesterday due to a saturated network switch in one of our datacenters.
This caused high latency and in some cases packet loss, both of which
contributed to some pretty slow load times. We've since strapped an
additional 2GB of thoroughput on the switch, and things are now chugging
along quite nicely.
Let me know if you are experiencing anymore issues with pages not loading, redirecting you to the homepage etc.
