It's bulky as crap.
And can you scrap that MASSIVE attach files here thing? That should be a post response. Not everyone makes an attachment every single post.

I shouldn't have to scroll down more after scrolling forever (thanks to the bulkiness) after the fact.

Also, I second or whatever the number on that active threads on the right.

Once again... it's very bulky and hugely oversized for what's actually on here.

I'm not sure if it's just me, but I wouldn't mind that side bar on the right, if it were moved to the left.
I've no idea how cellphones would like that though, probably not much.

Then again, I'm a huge fan of simplicity, I don't like things that are larger than they need to be.
And I tire of scrolling when there's nothing there.

Agreed - Bulky is a good word to describe....

Not to mention - Clunky, in the way things fit together... very none uniform.

For Example - This Text box that I'm typing this reply in on the main reply page - its default size waists space on the Gray Back Drop Frame.

The Frame Should Fit better with the text box and the text box shouldn't be centered in it - it should be at the top and expand down rather than from the center.

But that's just an example of the Clunky and Bulky sort of functionality.

I guess the biggest contributor is that - The Frames for Text Don't fit the text well in general all over the site.

I really don't like it when websites sacrifice Functionality for Style - but I don't think that's whats happening here

I think it's just a matter of poor/clunky/bulky design - It needs to be more Streamlined and Intuitive in the way things fit together.

Like cutting the fat off an obese child - we need a Lean and Streamlined design, simple and easy to use.

But obviously you guys aren't done yet...

The Main Page

The main page looks good - and I like how the content stays in the center when I expand my browser window -

I wish the Main forum page was like that - It needs to stay in the center when I expand my browser window, rather than making the text spread out - That's part of what makes it clunky.

The idea behind everything is good - but you gotta trim the fat I guess...

I've been busy and haven't gotten on in a few days. I hop on via iPhone 6 and thought my bookmark went crazy and landed me on the wrong site!! Once I figured out the address is in fact Mazda Revolution, it took me a minute to figure things out and find the CP.

As you can tell, I'm not one who likes COMPLETE and SUDDEN change. To me, the site change is too sudden and will take some getting used too...

Maybe it will look different on the Mac. I'll check it out later.

X2 on the "drag files here to attach" being ridiculously obnoxious. Do people really attach files SO FREQUENTLY that it's necessary to make the processes of point and drop THIS MASSIVE? yet I have to find, zoom in and aim to hit the "post reply" button... Who thought this was a good idea? Especially the pink button with barely visible white lettering. What the..?!?!?

For the sake of comparison of standard vB; just looking at the "new posts"

At M3F I can see 15 threads.
Here? I can see 6.

That's annoying AF.
I feel like I'm going to set my scroll wheel on fire to get down one page.

Also; for these short posts like the one mekanik just made... it takes up MY WHOLE WINDOW.

WHY?!?!?! It's 1 line of text!!!!
It should NOT consume a 800pixel height.

I also don't understand why the forum has to start halfway down my screen when I'm at the top.
It should be 3/4 view. Not 1/2. I have no reason to see that much of a banner at the top. That does nothing for me. It just means I have to scroll.... more.

I'm sorry but this UI is awful and so space consuming.
And I'm really getting pissed off at this "DRAG FILES HERE TO ATTACH!"

I don't... no!
I'm not attaching anythings, I just want to post the damn post!
not

SCROLL MOREEEEEEEEEEEEEE!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
RAWRRR!!!!

(I'm not really angry, don't be upset).

I want to send this off to the guys at The Oatmeal to make fun of how much you have to scroll here.

It's absurd.

On a side note; let's be honest. Why should anyone publicly see how many times someone has been mentioned? That's not really a thing. That's like asking someone how many times someone has heard their names. That is far from imperative information. Same with Tagged threads. Is that even a thing? You can tag users per thread?
Also not important.

Scrap all of that crap; just keep join date, posts, and thanked times.

Seriously this is how I feel about this.
While the colors etc. are pretty. The spacing? It's got to go.

I must be the only one that likes the new software. As soon as I moved that right margin out of the way it was all good. Mod tools are way better too.

Ok, the drag files button is a little big and remedial looking. The scrolling is a bit more intensive than I'd like. My scroll wheel is fast and loose so not a big deal for me but may be for others. Vbulletin is prehistoric. I think this is better.

I just went on the site. It seems fine to me, aside from the huge add and info bar on the right side of the screen taking up a lot of space.

I use the Autoguide app most of the time anyway. The only time I go to the site is to do mod stuff I can't do on the app.

Well I got rid of that side bar so the screen is much better now. I like the mod tools better with this new software too.

The side bar can be hidden in your user options.

Click on my profile / user cp at the top right.

- click on edit your details on the left.
- Look for Show Sidebar on Forum Pages under Additional Information.
- Click disable and save.
