I tuned my 02WRX and that was more trouble than it was worth. I make money, no need to attempt something that will/can mess my DD up... Makes more sense. I just enjoy wrenching myself, not tuning. Until you get the tuning down to a science... Keep your weak comments to yourself.

Based on the literary skills, I am guessing you are employed as the fry master at MickeyDs, good money?

I have not heard of "a lot" of self-tuners blowing their engines, as there are enough safeties in place to avoid throwing a rod. Now if you want to discuss the damaging of the worthless little OEM turbo or blowing the seals that is another issue. Just to let you know, if Cobb screws something up, it is still your problem. Having a working knowledge of what others are doing to your car is essential but don't worry you have money.

Tuning is not really a "science" and not that difficult, a few “if” statements and lookup tables, not that difficult to understand, Cobb and others has made understanding the platform utilizing ATR software and forums fairly simple. In actuality, the one's you needed to tune your machine have acquired a lot of knowledge from self-tuners as well as lab rats pigs like me during GENPU AP testing. As far as keeping "my weak comments to myself", this will not happen as long as idiots like you continue to open their mouths.

Done with this thread but I now have someone new to troll, thank you.
