Just so there is no confusion....I'm selling this brace because of what it did to my car after installation. From the outset, I had a strong vibration through the shifter, console, floorboards, and seats along with an obvious whine coming from underneath the car, especially at the beginning of a gear change. I could feel the stiffness right away....but the accompanying noises and vibrations are enough to make me get rid of the brace. The Mazda 3 is so smooth and quiet (my intent was to stiffen the chassis and quell future squeaks), I don't want to radically change the NVH for a small amount of handling prowess. Had I known the result of adding a chassis brace was more noise and vibration, I'd never have purchased this product.
