It's a little brighter, but not by much. The most noticeable part is the color, which was what I was going for.

Though notice that the bulb I got has 3 rear facing LEDs on it. It doesn't take advantage of much of the reflective housing cause the light just shoots straight out the back through the clear lens. Get a 7440 with more radially placed LEDs on it and it will be pretty darn bright.

(Also, you should change your license plate lights to cool white LEDs too. I'm especially happy with how those turned out.)

Ok thanks. But is it brighter than the stock bulb?

You'll want a 7440 for the reverse lights. This is what I ended up getting:

Yea, I have an Isport which does not have power locks. I got a set of OEM locks from a dealer and my alarm shop said they could do it. But there was a complication in the install. What was supposed to be a easy install, it turned out hell because there was no wiring. It was mostly the fault of the dealer who sold me the locks because they had promised there was prewiring for power locks( apparently some Isport models do not have prewiring while some do). The installer did his best and keyless lock/unlock works(he just fed power from the alarm to the locks i think), but the door ajar switch is on. I assume that one of the wires that the installer did not use is the one that has to do the door ajar.

Hi n4rwhals, I'm having a hard time remembering the specifics of that thread -- but I was just speculating as to what might have happened. Even if the switch is built into the lock, it's still possible they grabbed some of the wires being fed into that lock.

I seem to remember that a shop installed something (don't recall what it was) for you and it introduced this problem. Did they refuse to make it right once you took it back? If so, complain, complain, complain... as they are in the wrong. Hope everything works out.

Hey Mike, you responded to one of my posts about the door ajar switch. You said that maybe the installer closed off the door ajar switch and thus the door ajar is on. But in another post, I found out that the sensor is built in the lock itself. Do you have any suggestions in what I should do? Is it even possible to have the locks or should I switch back to actuators.

CLGZ2002: I added 2 new pics for you. One is a close up of the front guard, and the other is a side view of the entire car. Wish I had a better digital camera, but my cell phone is all I've got.

Sure thing. I'll try to remember to snap a pic tomorrow when it's light out.
