Default Socal - 2012 MS3 MT Skyactiv Hatch Owner
Finally joined a forum so I guess it's only appropriate to introduce myself.

Late last year I was in the market for an economical 5 door hatch to commute to work.
After checking out a few options I purchased a purchased a new 2012 Skyactive hatch manual.

Brought her home December 14, 2011
and to this day (August 02, 2012) I have put ~12000 miles on her
commuting from Pomona to Carson for work everyday.



Mods?
Other than maybe tint and suspension/wheels down the line when the stock
stuff starts wearing nothing really in the plans.
Years of working on cars have taught me that your daily driver shouldn't be your project.

I'm a longtime 240sx owner - have owned six, 3 at the same time just in the last year.
This was my last daily driver which I sold early in the year to make room for the 3 and a truck - 1998 S14 with a complete JDM conversion.



and this the current project that will become the weekend/track slut - 1995 S14 with a kouki conversion:



which is currently in the process of being painted


I'm looking forward to learning more about the Mazda 3 and maybe meeting some of the members of this (new to me) community.

and yeah, the 24mpg the 240 was getting wasn't going to cut it with the new commute
but what are you going to do? Gotta chase that dollar.

Yup. I commuted from Temecula to North Hollywood for 2 years.
