If you have one of these setups that I wasn't able to get "on the car" pictures of please feel free to add them yourself or pm me with them and I will add them later. Hope this helps.

Question...maybe a dumb one....

I don't know too much about lower cars, my only experiences is throwing some H&R lowering springs in my civic...

I'm wanting to install these BC coils, and am wondering if I need to purchase and install any other parts in order to properly lower and align my car afterwards.
For example:
do I need to purchase a camber kit of any kind?
or is a lower control arm needed?
or is a rear sway bar necessary?
or is a front sway bar necessary?
or are all these BC full coilovers all I need?

I just want to make sure I'm not missing anything before attempting to lower this bad boy!

Thanks in advance!

Hi guys

Would really appreciate some advice as to which suspension to get.

For me I really want to eliminate the wheel gap but also want the best clearance with adults in the car. I also want to avoid issues with camber and wheel alignment.

I never want to hear my car scrape driveways and speed humps. So what type is the ideal kit/spring/etc taking all factors into account?

Thanks :)

which lowering springs will be best for 16in rims

Hi i want to retain my 16 inch mz3 as pic above |(the roads are quite shit here) but would like to lower it by 2cm.

Which springs would be best. I was thinking of the eibach pro kit, but i'm not sure if i can install them for 16 inch wheel.

anyone can advise??

Eibachs looked great with the 16s. I got your PM, sorry I didn't take pictures of the car on Eibachs, but I will say that the car was at the perfect height. Especially with the added weight of someone in the car.

I woudnt mind a 3cm drop in height :)

however here we have the 2014 Mz3 with the 1.6 MZR engine, not the skyactive one, as its too expensive.

some mentioned that the engine weight can play a role, since supposedly the eibach is for the 2.0 or 2.5 skyactive engine weight, something like that.

I personally dont thk the type of engine plays a role in the coils springs, but can anyone with more experiance confirm this (i.e i can install the eibach pro kit on the 2014 mz3 with 16inchers and 1.6MZR engine?)

thanks friends :)

First post!
I'm running 205/50/16 +35 all around on my GS model (2.0L) if i install the CS springs, do you guys think i'll be too low? i'm just looking to minimize wheel gap, and by the looks of the pictues I like the CS drop compared to the Eibach. :) many thanks!

Edit: damn, second post :(

Does anyone have experience with raceland coils? I know they're on the cheaper side but I'm not really taking my car out to the track so they're not going to be abused all that much. I don't have a ton of money for coils and I know springs are cheaper but I like the adjustability. I'm in a 2.0 5-door with stock 16" rim and tire size

All of you who can! Contact raceland and ask if they have 2014 Mazda 3 coilovers! They won't, but I really wanna be the test fitter for them, and they won't test fit me because they don't have a demand. The more people who ask for coilovers, the sooner they'll test fit, the sooner we'll get cheap coilovers.

Hey guys, I contacted AMR Engineering last night about coils. The ones posted on the front will not fit. Those are for the MSP 2010-2013, there was a typo on their page. Andy is currently in the process of developing a set for our models.

Is there a way to just lower the back as the same ride height of the front on my 2014 mazda 3.
You can cut a coil off the factory spring.

This is NOT RECOMMENDED but is an option.

You may be able to source an Eibach rear spring set without the front, which should get you fairly close to level.
