What's fun to do by yourself?

So I'm a college student chilling until back at home in Northern California until the beginning of July, and there is virtually nothing to do but sit on my ass and watch Weeds. I've hung out with most of my friends here already, and most of them are pretty busy working part time jobs. I'm not interested in getting one because I have my internship in the beginning of July.

Since I recently got onto this forum, I figured I'd ask you guys what you guys do by yourselves in the Off Topic Lounge.

Going back in Los Angeles in a few days though. Just gotta find a way to entertain myself for the next couple hundred hours.

Here are some things I don't really wanna do:
1. Take apart my car and play with the internal stuff
2. Go to the gym
3. Stay on my computer all day
4. Play videogames

Thanks guys. If my real friends can't help me, my zoom-zoom friends should be able to right?

I wish I could be bored lol. My summer consists of:

• College Classes (12 credits; 3 credits are my "Senior project," which they require 135 hours of work on )
• Work (roughly 30-32 hours a week)
• Weekly car washes (on the weekends) haha. That reminds me... I need to wax again soon.

If u r in cali, how is the beach not an option. I used to surf and skimboard all the time when I was in school. It was awesome to just be in the ocean, riding waves. Man I wanna buy a surfboard now and just take a week off work. Lol.

Thank god Im moving to the beach next month. Suckie beach but at least its something. Moving to Newport News, VA for an amazing job. Im gonna be so bored GF isnt coming with me so Im gonna be alone and all my time will be either going to fly airplanes, fix and modify the cars, exercise, and go to the beach.

No shit! I live right by there. Good group of Mazda guys in the area. Let me know when you get moved in and such.

As for things to do, try to find a new hobby. What is something you've always wanted to do but never got a chance to start? Are you at home waiting until you are back at school or at school waiting to go home? What part of Cali(not familiar with west coast at all)?

I've never liked bikes. I'm too scared to knock my teeth out, or bike near crappy drivers.

LOL, and I was legitimately thinking about seeing about a fling...but that may only happen when I'm back in Los Angeles.

Surf - That actually sounds like a great idea. I have no beach near my house, but near my school, there are a couple big ones. I'll take a look into it (I surfed once in Hawaii with an instructor). Maybe I'll join a surf forum.

I can play a couple instruments, like ukulele and piano. I'm thinking about learning to freestyle RAP LOLL

I live in Northern California, but not in the San Francisco area. The place I'm at (Sacramento) isn't that exciting. Going to Southern California (where the famous California Beaches are) in a couple days.

I was just curious to see what you guys like doing

you know what is fun, testing your survival skills, go out to some wilderness area, for a weekend, park your car somewhere, and take only a back pack with first aid, 2 liters of water, 1 small cooking pot, a knife, and matches.

hunt your own food, when you run out of water, find some, boil it...

ahh that is a blast of a weekend!
