Funny, their P2 effort in WEC seems to be doing just fine.

Yeah, not sure what the problem is, but assume it's something I just don't understand about the business of running an F1 team.

Is it me, or do the Manor cars (both in F1 and WEC) seem to be lacking sponsors' logos?

Smart money should be on RBR?

Poll: Which team has the strongest driver pairing for 2017? - F1 Fanatic

"Only one team will start the 2017 F1 season with the same driver line-up they had this time 12 months ago.

"The world champions have lost the world champion. And a trio of novices flush with junior championship success are embarking on their first crack at the big time.

"But which team has assembled the strongest partnership for the coming season?"

Its sad that F1 is so heavily based on PAYING the ownership to race, that smaller groups who are interested cannot afford to race. Maybe the smart thinking is withdrawing and trying to save something financially?
Plus the whole, you cough up cash for every championship point you earned in the previous season on top of the standard fees. It makes budget racing on your own terms and racing in smaller events look like genius work.
I doubt I will be watching this year. Maybe I can watch the Formula E series?

Point very well taken. Bernie's biz model is highly problematic, but I'm still (sadly?) interested to see what Liberty does (if anything) to address this structural problem. Plus, curious to see how the new (aero) rules affect things and to see how Bottas does at Merc as well as rooks Stroll (rich boy at Williams) and Vandoorne (at McClaren). Plus I'm pulling for the Hulk in his new seat at Renault. Yeah, they've got me hooked already.... [sigh]

Compare Williams? new FW40 with their 2016 car F1 Fanatic

"Williams has been careful not to give the game away with its plans for the FW40. These first glimpses reveals the lower, wider car which was expected but also show Williams have done more than just adapt last year’s design to fit the new rules."
