Winter tires!

so i want to get winter tires for my sedan? i wanted to no everyone's opinions on the best winter tire.. thats affordable of course.. =) its december and were getting hit with snow here and my tires arent cutting it!

Yeah, I'll second that as far as the OEM all-seasons in the snow. I went to a -1 size 16"x7" rim with 205/55R16 Hankook winter i*cept evo W310 (91H) tires, instead. They are pretty excellent on dry pavement, quieter than my OEM Yohohama Avid s34 on R17 wheels, corner confidently and track straight at speed. They are quite good in both fresh and hardpack snow. They're new in 2010, aren't widely know, but one of only three tires selected by consumerreports nov'10 as 'recommended performance winter tires.' Best of all, they were cheap for a winter tire with their speed rating; I paid $94/ea. I have no idea what sort of treadwear to expect from them.

THANKS! ill look into them! i really need some because last time i went to the dealership! they told me my tires were done! (to much messin around lol) so with just a lil flurry on the ground n im sliding! so i need um fast b4 the big snow comes!
