I would be really excited to go test drive the 2010 Mazda 3 in January if it is true. Mazda may have also opted to move up the launch date because their sales have been down (as have the sales of everyone else) significantly as of late. I was also told that most sales people do not know this as they are trying to get rid of the 2009's which was a short production run. Check out the deals on 2009's which are amazing. I'm surprised to hear that the dealer is saying January 2009 availability for the sedan/hatchback because its so close to the auto show reveals. I have been told by a Mazda dealer that the engines will be a 2.0 litre and a 2.5 litre in the GT putting out about 189 hp. Both sedan and hatch will be available in January 2009. The GT I believe will be available with 17 inch and 18 inch rims/tires as an option. I have been told I will be able to see the 2010 in December sometime.
