Two New 2010 Mazdaspeed 3 Spy Shots

Two new, exclusive 2010 Mazdaspeed 3 spy shots came online today courtesy of U.K. auto mag AutoExpress which look like they might have been snapped on the same day as the numerous other spy shots from the N�rburgring last week.

The 2010 Mazdaspeed 3 prototype in the spy shots looks to be wearing the same camouflage as the previous spy shots but we did notice the much more muscular design of the next generation ‘Speed in the AE photos.

Looking at the front end you can see the raised center of the hood which is much more pronounced than it is in the current generation Mazdaspeed 3. Additionally, you can also see the widened body and flared fenders to the left of the headlight. Of course the most obvious other changes include the new hood scoop to help the motor breathe now that the new Mazdaspeed 3’s nose job has left it without a large grille opening.

AE also reaffirmed what was initially confirmed by GlobalMotors that the 2010 Mazdaspeed 3 will continue to use the current generation’s 2.3-liter powerplant and turbo.
