You could use some black plastic snap pins to cover the holes.

Once I broke one from the trunk and bought one at the dealer, it was a little expensive for what it is, around 65 cents of USD

 

I wrapped the license plate area with gloss black vinyl to match the grill and covers up the holes. If you have the matte black grill then use matte black vinyl Looks cleaner than plugs

 

I was planning to wrap the license plate area too, until I removed the license plate screws and saw the damage they did going into the grille. I had to drill out and smooth out the holes. And I liked the design of the Corksport kit so I just used the plugs Corksport supplies with their plate relocate kit.
I also had to drill out the holes on the lexan backing plate as the screws they supplied were too short. Future plan is to have a new backing plate made at work and powder coated.

As I've been shopping around for aftermarket Appearance accessories I stumbled upon rally mud flaps which are longer than the dealer offered pairs, I will have pictures to come once they ship and I install them

 

well thank goodness we didnt get this abominable grill. i think these are china market 3s.
